Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala continues her rise on the international stage after advancing to the round of 32 in the Nottingham Open.
On Saturday, the 20-year-old ace defeated France’s Varvara Gracheva with a scoreline of 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the qualifying round.
Eala, currently ranked World No. 77, gained momentum from her French Open performance and is now edging closer to a main draw slot in the England tournament.
She is set to face Romanian player Anca Todoni in the next round.
